“Behold, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world.”
With these words of John the Baptist, the core of the Gospel resounded through the vaults of the St. George’s Church this past Monday. Together, we reflected on the suffering, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ — the Lamb of God.
In word and music, we followed the path of the Lord Jesus: from the prophecies in Isaiah to the cross and the risen King. Songs like ‘Lamb of God’, ‘Lord, I Need You’, and ‘Wonderful, Merciful Savior’ touched the heart. And how special it was to sing together:
“Crown Him with many crowns, the Lamb upon His throne!”
